this dark-skinned man was one of the many Jedi Masters who
were pressed into service as military leaders, during the
height of the Clone Wars. Master D'oon and his Padawan,
Flynn Kybo, were dispatched to Vandos to rescue
Ambassador Quiyyen, unaware that Grievous had set a trap
for them. Once Quiyyen was secured, D'oon allowed Kybo to
reach their escape ship while holding of the Separatist forces
that were pursuing them. The appearance of General
Grievous only hardened D'oon's resolve to ensure the safety
of Quiyyen and his Padawan, and he challenged Grievous to
a duel. However, despite his own powers with the Force,
Master D'oon was cut down by the General.
